About This Piece

One customer wears hers "dressed up or down or as a jacket", and a shop assistant stopped her to say "you look beautiful".

Yemisola is a belted shirt dress in 100% deadstock cotton, with a vintage-inspired shape. Soft shoulder pads give it structure, and the buttons down the front are covered in the same fabric.

Wear it buttoned as a dress, or open as a long, light jacket over trousers or jeans. Available in sizes XS to XL.

Before You Order

Which size should I choose?

Choose your usual Kemi Telford size. The dress is roomy through the waist and skirt, but the chest is the most fitted part. Check your chest: it should be at least an inch smaller than the dress chest in the size guide. Two customers returned it because it was too small, one at the chest.

What shape is the dress?

It is lightly tailored through the shoulders, with subtle shoulder pads, and has a full, gathered skirt that falls below the knee.

How do I put it on?

There is no zip. It buttons all the way down the front.

Does it come with a belt?

Yes. Use the belt to define the waist, or leave it off for a looser shape.

Does the fabric stretch?

No. It is 100% cotton, which has no stretch.

How long is it?

It falls below the knee, from 47 inches in XS, a little longer in each size up. Naran is 5'9" and wears S.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days. During launches, sale periods and other busy times, dispatch may take a little longer.

Once dispatched, delivery usually takes:

  • 2–5 working days within the UK
  • 3–7 working days internationally

UK orders are shipped with Royal Mail or DHL, depending on order value. International orders are shipped with DHL.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

International orders

Duties and taxes are paid by the customer.

  • USA: duties and taxes are calculated and paid at checkout.
  • All other countries: duties and taxes are calculated by your country's customs and paid before your parcel is delivered.

Returns

Returns can be registered within 14 days of delivery through our returns portal. Once registered, items must be sent back within 14 days.

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed and in original, saleable condition with tags attached.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless an item is faulty or incorrect.

We offer exchanges for UK customers on items of the same price.
