The Indigo Grand Skirt

The Indigo Grand Skirt is the skirt you reach for when you want your clothes to do the work.

Cut in our classic 8-panel shape, it gives you volume, movement and presence without feeling heavy. Made from a special textured dobby cotton and fully lined, it has real substance to it. The elasticated waistband with drawstring keeps it comfortable through the waist, and the deep side pockets make it easy to live in.

This is the kind of skirt that changes the whole feel of what you put on with it. A simple tee, a crisp shirt, a knit you have worn a hundred times.

We made limited quantities, so you are less likely to walk into a room and find someone wearing the same thing.

Before You Order

How full is this skirt?

Indigo Grand has a deliberately full, eight-panel shape with generous volume through the skirt and hem. The cotton holds that shape away from the body. Look at the standing front and back photos to decide whether this is the amount of fullness you enjoy wearing.

What does the fabric feel like?

It is 100% textured dobby cotton with structure and body. Expect a skirt that holds its shape, rather than the soft drape of a lightweight, fluid fabric.

Will one size fit me?

One size does not mean every size. Please check the waist measurements in Fit Notes and compare them with a skirt you already wear comfortably. The fully extended waistband measurement is a stretch limit, not a promise of a comfortable fit at that measurement.

How long is this skirt?

The skirt is approximately 35 inches (89 cm) long. Where the hem falls depends on your height and where you wear the waistband. Measure 35 inches down from your preferred waist position, or compare it with a favourite skirt before ordering.

Does it have pockets?

Yes, deep side pockets.

How do I style the full shape?

A tucked-in T-shirt, neat knit or shirt lets the waistband show and balances the volume. Wear it with flats, trainers or heels, depending on your day.
