Commot for Road Golden Red Dress

A dress for when you want to arrive properly.

The print is a whole scene: palm leaves, red hibiscus, birds and little village huts on a black ground, with gold outlining the leaves so it catches the light when you move. Red, yellow, green and blue all sit inside it, which makes it easy to style.

The neck is high with a soft ruffle. The sleeves are full and gathered into a cuff at the wrist. The bodice is fitted, and the skirt is gathered so it moves with you. And yes, there are pockets.

It's 100% cotton wax print, so it has body and holds its shape. Wear it with heels for a wedding or dinner, or with flats when you want to look like you made an effort without trying too hard. The contrasting belt in the photos is for styling only and isn't included.

Customers have made it their Christmas dress, and one wore it as one of her wedding dresses. I made it in small numbers, so it's yours alone.

How does it fit?

The bodice and waist are fitted, and the skirt is full. This dress comes up small, especially at the waist and chest, so size up one size from your usual Kemi Telford size.

I'm between sizes. Which should I choose?

Go for the bigger size. The fitted waist is what decides it, and the full skirt will still sit well.

Is every dress exactly the same?

Each one is hand cut, so the measurements can vary slightly. If you're unsure, send us your bust and waist measurements and we'll help you choose.

Does the dress come with the belt?

No. The contrasting belt in the photos is for styling only and isn't included. The dress has a fitted waist, so it looks finished without one, but one customer found it looks even better belted.

Care

• Hand wash with lukewarm water
• Wash light and dark colours separately
• Wash inside out
• Do not wring, rub or twist
• Do not tumble dry
• Dry in the shade (do not expose to direct sunlight)
• Hang to dry
• Iron inside out (on reverse)
• Maximum temperature for ironing is 110°C
• Professional dry cleaning, mild process
