Joan Patchwork Mega Dress – One of a Kind Wax Print Cotton

Last year, I faced a familiar challenge: what to do with the beautiful fabric remnants left after production. This collection is my answer.

The Joan Patchwork Mega Dress draws inspiration from the bold style and enduring spirit of the Herero people of Namibia. Each dress is handmade in Lagos using panels of Ankara cotton — carefully curated remnants from past and present collections. No two dresses are the same.  Finished with a belt that may vary in print but always complements the piece.

One-of-a-kind patchwork design. 100% Ankara cotton. Oversized, voluminous silhouette. Matching belt (may vary in print). One size fits UK 10–16. Handmade in Lagos, Nigeria. Each dress takes up to a week to make

Size & Fit:

Approximate measurements: One size. Chest 50". Waist 42". Length 50"

Our Model Yvonne is wearing one size. She is 5.6" tall, and her chest is 35". This dress is hand-cut and hand-stitched, and measurements will vary slightly.

Care:

Wash sparingly to preserve quality and reduce environmental impact. Cold machine wash. Hang dry. Iron on reverse using a medium setting if needed.

Our measurements refer to the size of our clothes, so for a good fit, you should check that your measurements are less.
