Stephanie Patchwork Mega Dress
The story behind the dress...
Last year, I faced a challenge: what to do with production remnants? As a small brand committed to sustainability, I found inspiration in the Herero people of Namibia to create this collection of limited-edition patchwork dresses.
The Herero people's beauty, style and resilience moved me to create something unique in their honour. After months of hard work, I am thrilled to release this collection of limited-edition dresses that embody their vibrant style.
This is your chance to own a dress that is truly unique (no two dresses in this collection are the same).
Each dress features our popular shape crafted with Ankara fabric. They are adorned with panels carefully selected by our skilled tailors, combining materials from our previous and current prints. You'll love the exceptional quality and attention to detail that goes into every dress. And it's great to know that this has been possible in a way that conserves our planet's resources.
This dress is designed to be big and voluminous.
Handmade in Lagos, Nigeria. Each dress took almost a week to make. Belts may vary but will match the dress.
Care
For earth's sake, we encourage minimal washing. Machine wash using a cold water setting. Hang dry. Medium iron, if desired, from the inside.
