LimIted Edition Bey Tie Shoulder Adire Statement Dress

This is the perfect summer dress that can be dressed up for an occasion or worn with sandals or trainers for your daytime errands.

Made from 100% cotton.

it starts with medium size self-tie straps and a smocked bodice, before falling to an A-line skirt. 

This dress is made from resist-dyed 100% Adire cotton. Each piece of material is hand-dyed by women artisans in Abeokuta, Nigeria. They use traditional skills, which in most cases have been passed down to them through many generations of their family. Their craftswomanship means that each piece is unique.

To get the print effect on this fabric, straight stitches were sewn on it before it was dyed. After dyeing, the stitches were removed. You may notice tiny threads poking out of the fabric especially after the first wash. This is not a fault. You can easily trim them off.

As each dress is unique, you might notice slight irregularities or differences in the colour of the garment as a result of our production processes. The colour may change over time.

Think of our earth first, wash only as needed. Gentle hand wash with like colours. Colour may bleed.
