"A tiger does not proclaim his tigritude. He pounces". In other words: a tiger does not stand in the forest and say: "I am a tiger". When you pass where the tiger has walked before, you see the skeleton of the duiker; you know that some tigritude has been emanated there.

I discovered this proverb in my 40s, and it changed everything. This proverb inspired me to stop trying to prove my worth to others. It helped me to put my begging bowl away. Recently, it helped me walk away from a business deal that was no longer serving me. In a relationship, I don't have to prove my worth.

Happy Sunday. Wear your crown, and may your day be filled with all things beautiful. Yvonne x
