Over the course of parenting my nine and seven-year-old daughters, I have come to realise that, being a good parent is not about getting my daughters into a Grammar school or pushing to have amazing careers.
Yours and my job (as mothers) is to raise great citizens of the future. Children who are kind, strong, generous and independent. Good human beings. This is not an easy task but we can do it. We are women after all.
So, to the mamas out there, I salute you. Our job as mothers can be emotionally draining but worth the end result (if we get it right) is worth every stress.
What do you think?
